A Saturday filled with beauty: Today I spent my day enjoying the fall sunshine, pruning grape vines with three generations of the Pavlik family and their close friends who attend my local church. We worked together with big smiles and lots of laughter gathering the harvest for this years wine production. After the grapes were pruned we all gathered for pörkölt, a traditional Hungarian meal prepared by nagymama (grandma) Kati Pavlik! A day like this leaves me feeling nourished physically, mentally and spiritually and for that I give all my thanks and praise.
